It depends on what you can handle M 2 youngest are 17 months apart. It didn't faze me at all. I have 8 total but I gave birth to 4. My 16 and 15 yr old are the closest at 8 1/2 monthes apart. Just put one on each hip. That's how I did it.

IMO...i would wait until the first child is a little more independant,or potty trained at least.but its really all your decision,i know lots of people with kids very close in age.they seem rather stressed out but im sure it will have its ups and downs!! also if your hubby is on board with the decision is important!

It is a personal desicion. If you are ready, your partner is ready and you want your children to be thatclose together go for it. I know that the closer your children are together the more complicated a pregnacy can be and there are some health risks but if you are healthy why not give it a shot?

I have always heard to wait at least 18 months to allow your body to fully heal and get back to normal again.

Totally agree with Krista, it also depends on if you had a c section or a vaginal birth. C sections take longer to heal from, since the uterus was cut into, and needs time to heal properly so it does not rupture or cause other problems. Speak with your OBGYN about your circumstance. They are going to be the best to help you in this medical question. Good luck.

My obstetrician told me that it's best to wait at least 9 months after childbirth before getting pregnant again, to ensure that your nutrient stores are replenished and that you're back to 100% health. It's obviously up to you, but I'd wait another month or two, and in the meantime, make sure that you're eating very healthfully and taking your prenatal vitamins.
