I have tried apple and prune juice and they worked for a little while but they are not now. He is bottle feed. Any ideas to help?

Diluted pear juice is also ok for his age.

And you can add dark karo syrup to the formula - ignore the botulism scare, that's a thing of the past (see this: http://www.drgreene.com/qa-articles/karo...)

And of course you can use infant size suppositories (glycerine, or a sliver of additive-free soap) - side-effect free, and if all else fails, if anything will ensure he's doing a daily dooh, this will.

I would be discussing it with your doctor. My oldest had the same problems and it was the type of formula I had him on. You may need to change the formula.
