arrow root cookies are good and also they sell these big bulky formula cookies which disolve slowly and make them perfect for 6 months plus. They are big and bulky but my kids LOVED them.

You might want a hose and drop cloth though LOL just kidding

I would take him back to the doctor.

Some babies do go on a solids strike when teething.

You could also try giving some finger foods as opposed to purees/stage 2 and let his curiosity get the ball rolling again.

Try some Oval to help with the gas until you figure out what is causing it ( possibly something in his diet). that stuff works wonders.

when ever my son is teething, the only thing he will take is his bottle. which is a little bit of a hassle. but not to worry. also if your son is teething, which can last quite a while, let him pick at his foods on his own. like those little gerber puffs, my son loves chewing on those, plus they melt in their mouth after like 10 seconds so its nothing to worry if you think he might choke on them. runny noses, and ear infections and fevers are common with teething too. a doctor will tell you its a virus, but its just from the teething. wish you luck

Puffed wheat is another good snack, just make sure to get the kind that isn't covered in sugar.

Cheerios are great for kids 6 months and up..it helps them develop hand eye coordination and they are safe because they dissolve almost instantly.
