He loves junk foods (chips, cookies, sugar Cereal) then again what child doesn't? this is all he eats. chicken nuggets, fries, ramen noddles, spaghetti, chicken fries, white rice, hot dogs, spam, eggs, pancakes. I cant not get him to eat anything else..please help. his diet is very poor and hes becoming sick alot and having tons of diarrhea due to his poor eating. I have tryed everything. I'm stuck and feel like the worst mother.

A child will not starve himself to death, and as long as you keep caving in, he will keep only eating those things. In my house, I make one meal, and one meal only. If someone doesn't like it, that's fine, they don't have to eat it, but it's a long time before the next meal. I never make my kids clean their plate, but if we have a desert or a special snack that night, and they didn't give an honest attempt to eat dinner, then they don't get any of that either. Sure your son will complain that he's hungry, and will probably go to bed with a growling stomach a couple times, but he will soon decide that he doesn't like it, and will eat.

make the things he will eat as healthy as possible - for spaghetti use whole wheat pasta, add pumpkin to the sauce (it doesn't add a flavour just thickens and adds nutrients) you can even add in pureed broccoli and cauliflour to the sauce. add a little cheese to the top. give sweet potatoe fries, make your own nuggets with boneless skinless chicken breast chopped up and coated with shake and bake (again, you can use veggie puree under the shake and bake). eggs are good for him so no worries with that...add fruit to the pancakes and skip syrup. make sure he is taking a good children's vitamin and keep offering him the healthy foods. if you adopt a eat what i give you or you won't have anything he'll eventually start trying new things (and i'm sure he'll find they're pretty good!) try adding one new thing to his plate of favorites but he has to try the "new" food before he gets to eat what he likes. or, just cold turkey stop giving the unhealthy food. if it's not in the house you can't give into his complaining and give it to him. he'll quickly get the hint that he needs to eat what you give him or he'll be a hungry boy.

He can't be pickier than my brother - my brother (an adult) ate only white things - white bread with marshmallow fluff, pasta with nothing but salt, chicken (with ALL the brown cut off), mashed potatoes - no, WHIPPED potatoes, hot dogs (PEELED and with no mustard) and grossest enough, he will only use Heinz but kept in the CUPBOARD (not the fridge.) He WILL eat McDonald's fries, but he bites the middle out and leaves the ends.

He told his future wives that HE would do the "cooking" - that's COOKING? That's barely eating!

Oh, and no pizza. We tried to make him taste spaghetti sauce - nearly puked.

He's totally weird.
