My son is almost a year old & still wakes up during the night is there any helpful tips or ideas to maybe help him sleep better?

During months 1-5 he slept all night and then he just stopped. He also doesn't like taking naps he fights his sleep all the time and when I finially do get him to take a nap its only for a few minutes never longer than an hour.

my son was such a bad sleeper didnt sleep through until he was 2 , we took his bottle awy as he used that as a pacifier and found after that he slept through ok , my daughter on the other hand like your son started off wonderful and slept lovley at about 6 months that changed, still baffled as i couldnt see any obvious reason, now shes 2 ive taken her dummy away completly thinking it was the reason she was waking because she had breifly woken and couldnt find her dummy , even 3 motnhs after taking the dummy away she still wakes up and wouldnt be wrong to say up to 5 times a night , i have been told its because shes over tired etc and that i should just leave her if she cries but im not ashamed to say i cannot just let her cry i know shes not hurt but .... , ll i can say is as i have a similar issue they do grow out of it and your son is only young still many babies / mums i know didnt sleep through till a lot later than that anyway , yu will find many mums saying their children have always slept through from day one etc etc i personally believe were lucky or were not with sleeping children. thank god for coffee and pro plus ! x ;-)

I'm in the same position, and will be following this post too...my 7-month-old takes similar "naps" if you can call them naps. And he wakes up at least once each night to eat.
