My son is fine taking the bottle and breast - no nipple confusion. I was on an antibiotic and formula feed him while continuing to pump and he had no problem with the formula eaither. My question is: would it be hard on his digestive system if I continued to formula and breast feed at the same time on a regular basis?

People do that all the time without problems. Like Little Miss said though, if you do see any issues arising, it might be best to stick with just one. Also in some cases women can see a decrease in their milk supply if they also use formula. Just something to watch out for.

Nope. it should be just fine. If your noticing issues, you may need to choose one or the other, but one of my kids was on both and did wonderfully.
