I'm not sure how to help my almost 3 year old to use the potty in a public restroom. He isn't scared at home to go. He still sits to pee. I don't mind that, I think he'll get the standing later. He watches Daddy sometimes to get the idea. I'm just worried when we go out. I have to put him in a pull up when we go out so he doesn't have an accident. He get's very lazy when he is in a pull up. Any suggestions? Thanks

Can you bring a potty seat to attach to the big public potty? My daughter doesn't have the fear of public potties. I wont sit on the ones that have an 'automatic flush' so maybe he just prefers the comfort of the one at home. Bring his regular underwear with you if you go out and a change of pants and if he has an accident, you can change his clothes. Or you could use plastic pants that go over underwear/training pants to keep the wetness in.
