My son who is nearly 7 has been diagnosed with ADHD and so does this automatically mean medication and is there different levels of ADHD ?? He is a hyper but lovely boy, i have no troubles with him at home other than he likes routine and can out anger outburst but he very much struggles in school even tho he is very bright.

There are all levels of it, like any disorder. Some ADHD is mild and doesn't have a major impact on life and learning. Some is so severe the child is unable to focus enough to learn and can't keep up with their peers. Occupational Therapy helps a lot for learning methods to focus when it's getting difficult. Medication is ALWAYS up to the parent.
