My son has been living with his Dad for two and a half years. He has never been to doctors apointments and has no idea what meds to give, how often, or why he has to have them. I had an oppertunity to get a better job and advance our standard of living"hugely" but however was denied my son for doing so. Now he suffers physicaly everyday for it. I was away for a year and during that time his father took him off all his medications. Is this abuse or neglect? and during this time my sons small airways stopped functioning! how bout now??? no function for 2 1/2 years . how bout now??? NO not a chance... what should i do

If you can have it proved through a doctor, then yes it is abuse. You have documentation from where he was prescribed the medicine before he lived with his father and all you would need is information that he is not taking the medicine and the doctor has not seen him.

Talk to your son's doctor, the doctor will be able to verify ALL of this, and tell you whether it is of concern, and then you talk to a lawyer.
