Hey everybody,
Im a young single mom, who just recently losed a mother.
my son is 5 years old and was very close with my mother.
Lately his teacher is always complaining and punishing him, due to his behaviuor ,so she says.
Im scared that this will cost my son to loose interest in school, they teacher is also stressing me as im a single mom working. what steps can i take to sort this out,please help?

Have you told the teachers about the changes at home. My son had some major changes at home and one if the first things I did was notify the teacher so if there were behavioral changes at school 1) the teacher would know why and 2) so the teacher could let me know immediately and I would address them.

I would also see if there is a school psychologist to speak to your son. Ultimately you need to find a different avenue for your son, he lost someone close to him but do not use it as an excuse for misbehavior.
