My toddler cries when he gets done eating. no matter how much I feed him. I don't understand why he is doing this, but as soon as I set the spoon down he throws a fit. Please help me understand.

Hmm, interesting....maybe there is something going on with his stomach? Does he cry like he's in pain?

He is 20 months old. Sometimes he will feed himself but other times he refuses to. When I put the spoon down... I can just set it in the bowl to get more food for him and he will still cry. He has been this way since he started eating baby food at 6 months. He no longer eats baby food though he will eat things like soup, toast, pizza, basically he eats anything I do as long as it's not too hot for him.

As for "Is he still hungry?" question... It doesn't matter how much he eats he cries. I try to make sure he is full but it is really hard to do that when he cries no matter how much he eats.

How old is he? What do you mean he cries when you put the spoon down? He's still hungry? Does he not feed himself? I need a little more info......
