my toddler is two and we are starting to try and potty train. She is ver y interested in sitting on the potty but hasnt been going at all. She did twice last month but nothing recently. I thought about buying training pants but didnt know if its still too early or try them? also what are the best training pants to buy?

I would not bother with pull-ups they don't know the difference between that and a diaper, bring her in the bathroom as often as possible and ask her if she wants to try potty too. My daughter is responding quite well to this. Whenever I go I tell her Mommy is going potty, even though she doesn't go everytime she has the urge to keep trying. she has jumped out of her bath to go on several occasions. Also try letting her blow bubbles as long as you don't mind a little mess, the blowing out motion relaxes the bladder helping her go

My daughter was 2 years 5 months when we just put her in big girl underwear. That way when she started going she felt that she was going and there was nothing absorbing it. We had a day of accidents where she would start to go and then run to the potty to use it, we took a few days off because of a trip and then just put her in underwear. She caught on right away and has been using the potty ever since. We did use stickers initially when she used the potty to keep encouraging it.
