My 2.5 year old son has been suspended from daycare for 2 days for bitting his teacher scratching another child, and choking another child. They didn't do anything to him either! The manager told me that no other children behave like he does, that it's not normal and she believes he is dangerous. She wants me ti seek professional help. My son is 2 going on 3 in march, he is physically bigger and strongly than children his age, his older sister is 13 months older than him yet she is smaller. We also jave a 4 month old baby girl and I never leave her alone with him even though he is very loving towards her I just think that he doesn't know his own strength. I don't know what to do, please help ...

Get him evaluated. If he has bitten, injured, and choked people, he's got something underlying that may be prompting that.

This is NOT normal behaviour, not at this level. Especially the choking! I'd say, yes, he's a danger to the other children, and until he's been in for a checkup, and you make sure that you are enforcing consequences consistently, and he understands the results of his actions, and understands that his actions are completely inappropriate, I'd keep him out of daycare.

I know that, if I were a parent of one of the other kids who'd been injured, I'd be seriously wanting the daycare to reconsider whether to let him back in or not.
