My two sons are finding it difficult to read and I need help in how to get them started. I bought books but they are not interested in reading them and it is not helping at all.
I need recommendation on how to select the right book for them.

If they are finding it difficult to read then I suggest getting their eyes tested.
My oldest son had trouble focusing when he was around 8 and had glasses for a couple of years to correct it.
I would make sure that everything else is fine and then let them choose books that they want to read.

If you want to start with something simple try Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. The Enemy, The Dead, The Fear, The Sacrifice, The Fallen and The Hunted by Charlie Higson, are a great science fiction series that my son loved.
If they did not enjoy reading before now, it is going to take some time for them to enjoy reading now. Take some time to think about what they are really into; ficiton, non-fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, historical stories. Try letting them pick out books at the library as well. Then you have to let them learn to enjoy reading. Best way to do that is to turn off all technology for at least to 30 sessions per day. Have them read at least that much each day and it will start to become part of their routine. Once they find out how great reading can be, they will be more inclined to just pick up a book on their own.
Before you start any of this; be sure they can see to read, have a good quiet spot to read and are free to choose what they read. Do you have concerns about their vision, reading ability or anything like that? Sometimes kids don't read becasue they can't or it is a struggle to understand.
