My two year old loves his crib, is he too old to stay in his crib?

My son turned 2 last weekend and still sleeps in his crib. He's not potty trained and never climbs out. I want him to feel like a big boy and sleep in his crib without the front side as a toddler bed (it was made for that) but I'm not sure if I should since he hasn't shown any of the signs of being ready for a toddler bed.

What should I do?

Heck no he isn't too old. All of my kids were in their cribs until they were almost 3 and they were potty trained and it still wasn't a problem.

Our son was the same way, loved his crib and never tried climbing out of it. We transitioned him into a big boy bed around 2 years of age and he loved it as much as his crib. I think it's just a personal choice that you have to make; he is old enough to transition. Good luck with whatever you decide.
