I have 6 and half month old identical twins, I would like some advice on napping during the day, as I think it has started to affect them waking at night. One of the twins thinks the day starts at 5 am and I have followed Gina fords 7 - 7 and not had a problem until now. I wonder if I need to change from 3/2 naps a day. I go into them about 7am put them down for a nap about 9am they wake about 9.45 one does like to sleep a bit longer, then they have awake time and go back down for about 12.30 but ony ever sleep an hour so I'm then putting them down again about 4pm is that too late should they sleep past 4pm? I have tried to put them down at 3.15 instead today, their bedtime is about 7pm, any advice ? Xx

This is about the age babies drop the 3rd nap, so you may have to start dragging out each nap a little later so you can cut the later one. However, 7pm to 5am is a pretty good sleep. Babies this age are normally sleeping 10-12 hours at night, and yours are sleeping 10 hours. If you are tired, you need to start sleeping when they sleep.
