MY first child is almost two years old and has been fighting her naps for nearly a month now. I still lay her down for a hour or put her in her crib and room and close the door for a hour to see if she lays down. But like I said that hasn't happened for a month or more, and if I leave her in there for more then a hour I'll end up having to clean up who knows what amount of mess. For a while I was having to wash down the mattress and crib daily because she decided to take her diaper off.
I need some help... in May I am due to have my second child. This being said my current little one gets beyond irritable and grumpy because she's not taking a nap. I'd love to say that her father is around to help take some of the stress and weight off but he's not. I've tried a number of methods to get her to nap or least do quiet time but none of them seem to work. Heck I'd deal with a peace of mind that she's not taking her clothes off or diaper (or both..).
