God knows I need a break... I've had to do it alone since my husband was gone for work since he was born till 7 months. Once hubby was back I thought I'll catch a break. WRONG!!! although he helps I'm the one still doing all the hard work... Someone suggested to go out on a date with my husband and spend a few hours alone... but I don't trust babysitters and I don't have family around... So do I just suck it up and continue doing mommy duties or is there a way to let go of this fear of something happening to my child if I leave him out of my sight for a few hours???

Thank you Sarah for your advice.. I recently moved to SD and don't have friends around... the burden of military life.. I've met a few people here and there but no one close enough to trust just yet... maybe with time I guess... and yes I guess that's a good way of building trust with someone.. thanks :)

Do you have any friends that can either babysit or recommend a sitter? Have a potential babysitter come over and spend time with you and your baby. See how you feel. Work yourself up to spending some time in a different room, or take a nap. When you have a rapport with someone, you may find it easier to leave your baby with them.
