I have a 13 month old girl and i'm still breast feeding. Now she is on 25th percentile, and refuses to take solids.Doc told that by reducing the breast feeding, she may eat solids. But i am so confused about ,how to stop the breast feeding.I tired variety of foods,fruits..but nothing helped :(
And she wants the breast to sleep and as pacifier also...

At meal times offer her solid food first, if you want to wean her off of you then express your milk and put it in a bottle or sippy cup then offer her a dummy. A dummy is easy to get rid of and the child will wean herself from a dummy. Weaning from mum can be quite difficult. At night time offer her a bottle and cuddle her with a fleecy pram blanket (rub the blanket around you to get your scent on it) pop the dummy in and put her to bed with the dummy and the blanket for comfort.

P.S As she does not eat any thing at all solid then start her off with very young baby food as it is smooth not lumpy. Something like porridge or rice pudding. Babies prefer sweet to savoury at first.
