Hi, my name is Jane.. and I've discovered that my 9 year old son Tyler, has been wearing my silk underskirts. I don't know if I should talk to him, or what. Don't want to make him feel uneased etc. Is there other mothers who has a similar experience?

Nine years old? Id definitely have a sit down about rifling through your drawers and taking things that belong to other people, but take the issue very sensitively. Assure him that if theres anything he needs, or anything he wants to talk about, he can come to you.
To avoid any gender shaming- i'd probably both consider those underclothings gone, and get him a pair of nice silk boxers that fit under his clothes properly for his birthday or when shopping for clothes.
If he's wearing them in secret, he's probably already feeling some sort of shame about it, and probably not ready to talk about it. Could be sensory, could be curiosity, and those are natural things he shouldn't be forced to talk about if he doesnt want to.
However, it could be just straight up experimentation with theft- and it doesnt matter what the object is to have a talk to stave off that behaviour.

I don't mind him wearing my silk slips, seems harmless but I'm afraid of how to handle it. He seems to sneak them into his room a lot, I noticed a few were missing from my drawer.

Our kids experience a lot of sensory issues. It may just be that he likes the feel of the fabric. Maybe you could get him a pair of silk leggings to wear under his pants. It probably has nothing to do with male vs female clothing but rather the texture and feel on his skin.
