Need advice about 5yo haircut
Hello, I am a mother of 2 girls ages 5 and 7. Yesterday, I decided to cut my 5yo hair to prepare for summer time. Turns out, I'm not a great hair dresser and she failed to hold still in the process which resulted in her hair being too short and pretty uneven. Now I'm having massive anxiety about it even though I know that it's just hair. She likes it though. I don't know why I am so worried about it but I can't seem to stop obsessing over it. I cut my 7yo hair all the time but her hair is much thinner and easier to cut. I'm so embarrassed that I don't even want to take her to a professional to get it fixed. Am I being crazy? Idk what to do.

If she likes it... who cares? It IS just hair and it will grow. If she wants it fixed go ahead and take it to a professional. There is no reason to be embarrassed that your 5 year old did not hold still.

My son's hair was frequently done poorly as he was 'allergic' to haircuts and would only tolerate it for a short period of time before freaking out... AND I suck at doing it. lol Now he hasn't had a haircut in almost 2 years because he doesn't want one and I finally quit pushing the issue.
