I have two step kids, a boy and a girl who are 13 and 15 years old. They live with there mother and step father in a 3 bedroom trailer which is on the smaller side of trailers. They also share the trailer with there mothers 2 other children from other fathers and there step fathers 2 children. They also share the trailer with 7 cats, 2 dogs, and a bird. On top of all the people and the pets that live in this trailer, there mother started her own organization to save stray cats. meaning she sets traps and keeps them in stacked cages in her trailer and then she adopts them out to people. Not exactly sure how many she has but I know that right now she is full and can't take anymore in. I've seen the cages and I know she usually gets a lot of kittens so i'm going to say that she probably has 12 or more in her home. There are times that when we get my fiancés son and daughter that they smell of cat urine or just plain cat! you can tell that there house obviously smells bad and it doesn't help that my fiancés daughter is allergic to cats and dogs! my question is should I call children and youth on her and see what they can do? or does anybody know how to shut an organization down that is bad for the health of the children or is too small of a place to be keeping these animals? Please let me know if anybody has any kind of opinion on what I should do.
