Hi All

My daughter recently turned 2 in October and was eating fine until a month ago she stopped. She refuses cereal now too which she use to love before. I bought new cereals too to encourage her to try but not working :(
She has become very picky, she eats fruit (Strawberries, Apple, Grapes, Pear), she likes Angel cakes, cheese, bread sometimes, plain rice, pancakes and that's about it.
I'm really surprised how she has given up cereal as she use to love it so much and can have it all the time, she basically skips breakfast and mainly lives on milk. Getting her to eat something is a real battle for me and feeling really stressed out.
She goes to nursery and eats a little watching other kids so why not at home? I tend to leave her to get on with it, she has a spoon or 2 then straight onto the floor! Not sure what to do :(

It's probably just a stage. My daughter isn't as old as yours but she has had a couple of moments where she will only live on one type of food, usually cookies. It doesn't last long. I kept offering her other foods just so she wouldn't go hungry I gave her what I know she will eat too. After a bit, sorry I can't remember how long, she starts eating everything again. but she is only 20 months old so these eating only one thing moment have not been very long.
