Here is an awesome website that you may find very useful. It is geared towards African American and bi-racial hair and skin care.

One thing I learned from the website is that cotton sheets can dry the hair and skin even more. Sometimes using satin is better and helps keep moisture in.

Try looking in the 'ethnic' section of the hair aisle. From what I understand hair that's textured like hers needs extra moisture. Try using leave in conditioner and hair oils after it's washed and see if that helps. I'm not so sure about the lotion part though. I've used Nivea Creme (the stuff in a blue jar) and it was wildly moisturizing almost to the point of being too heavy, but that might help? It seemed to be pretty gentle stuff, it just takes awhile to soak in. Good luck with your baby

I to have a mixed baby and I don't know what to use in her hair. My hair is thick and straight and her hair is very curly and soft. I think she took her dad's genes more and I just don't know what to put in it. I dont want it to fall out.

How are you taking care of her hair? Shampoo n conditioner. Any hair oil being applied to her hair? Is it long enough at 6 months to braid? baby oil in her wash bath and also applied on skin. Drinking enough water? we tend to forget the most simplest of things.

It is sad that you expect disrespectful replies. I wish you the best of luck finding this information.
