I currently give my 11 month old a bottle after his solids 3 times a day it's only 2 oz and this is a key role on getting him to go for a nap. My question is instead of doing this bottle after solids could I wait and give it to him in mid afternoon so he wouldnap? He's starting to fight his naps he only goes for half hour at a time .I'm just really confused about what to do.here is his day. 7 a.m solid bfast no bottle afterwards.....10 am 6 oz bottle then naps for 30 min......1 pm solid lunch then 2 oz bottle followed by hopefully nap....4 p.m supper followed by 2 oz bottle then hopefully nap.....tub at 7 pm...then cereal before bed then 8 oz bottle to fall asleep for night (he never drinks all of that one)......please send advice

I would cut out some of the naps. At 11 mos. They are usually doing only a morning and afternoon nap with starting to wean done to just an afternoon nap. To me it sounds like he does not need all the naps you have scheduled in his day. I would not change the bottles as you are also wanting to wean him off bottles once he turns 1 yr.
