I have two little girls in elementary school, they both seem to love books and I love reading to them at bedtime. These are their favorite books:

Amelia Bedelia

https://www.amazon.com/Amelia-Bedelia-Chapter-Book-Box/dp/0062334204/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1468109662&sr=1-1&keywords=amelia+bedelia

Goofsville

https://www.amazon.com/Goofsville-Sammy-Hahn/dp/1534715797/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1468108585&sr=1-1&keywords=Goofsville

And most Dr.Seuss books

My co-worker suggested these to me along with 'frog and toad' and a few others, but, other than those, my kids have no interest in new books I bring home. They weren't big fans of frog and toad. They keep wanting to re-read Goofsville and Amelia Bedilia and I don't know what to do.

Does anyone have recommendations for similar books or ideas on what I can do? I want them to get excited about new books.

Maybe they are going through a phase of liking only those books. But Sarah E. has some good ideas in her post too. Depending on their ages Harry Potter would be cool but again age related to their ability to handle that set of books. Have you even tried to take them to the library and explore the books that are in the children's section to see what they want to try out?

How old are they? I read to my kids every single night and my girls loved Little House on the Prairie series. The Secret Garden was a hit too. Lemony Snickett Series of Unfortunate Events. The Magic Tree House series are great and geared toward earlier readers; funny and educational.
