Me and my partner have recently had a baby who is 6 months old. He has a child from another relationship who doesn't seem too impressed that her dad is with me. She seems to want everything and treats her dad awful. She's recently moved out of our house and now wants to babysit my daughter. I don't want her to babysit as her apartment is unhygienic. This keeps causing arguments between my partner and his daughter where she'll go through long stints of not talking to him until she wants money or for example the tv stand. She believes he has pushed her away when he has always tried ringing her and inviting her over and out places with us, but she has pushed her whole family away. We have recently found out she is only 5stone 1 pound at 5"1 and 18. What can I do ?

Thanks for any replies

I have offered her to babysit here but she will not take the offer as she states her home is elsewhere now. My partners sister is also having the same trouble of her. She blames us for her weight that her family are making her sick.

Well, she's 18 (I'm not quite sure what any of your question has to do with her weight). If she doesn't talk to him until she wants money, then maybe it's time to stop giving her the money. Tell him not to argue with her. If he doesn't argue back, then there is no argument. Sure, she won't talk to him, but it sounds like she is a bit of a spoiled brat and needs a lesson in how to treat people with respect.

Another thought, is there any reason she can't babysit at your house?
