You've got 3 weeks left before you need to start worrying. I know it sucks, but the drugs they gave you are definitely not in your system anymore so that shouldn't cause an issue.

I agree. You are only 38 weeks. A full term pregnancy is 40 weeks, but can go to 42. Most docs will not let you go beyond that. Unless there are health concerns, there is no reason to speed up labor. I would try to relax as much as possible, stay hydrated, and eat healthy food. Nature will take its course.

A few things:
First, U/S are infamous for getting the weight wrong by a pound or more. I highly doubt your baby weighs 12 lbs.
Second, you are only 38 weeks. You could still have four weeks left. I know that sounds crazy and uncomfortable, but it's the truth.
Third, if they had to stop labor for you a month ago, how did they do it? Was there a reason they gave you for you laboring early (blood pressure, incompetent cervix, severe dehydration, etc) or was it just one of those things that happens? It's one of those situations where it CAN make it harder for labor to start again later, just like epidurals CAN slow labor if it's not already going really well, but it's not super common.
What have your doctors said? I would really just wait it out. keep drinking and eating lots of small meals, keep your home tidy and your gas tank full. The end really blows.
