My son Cody was diagnosed with mild to moderate autism just before his second birthday. He's now a talking first grader who has no issues wearing underwear and peeing on the toilet at school however the second he gets home the first thing he does is rip off the underwear and put on a pull up. As far as I know he's never made a BM at school. So he must be holding it until he gets home and has the pull up on. My husband and I really want to get him out of pull ups while at home but are at a loss on what will work. We've tried taking away his favorite past time (the iPad) and using it as a reinforcer but as much as he loves the iPad he hates wearing underwear even more. If anyone has any tips for us, we'd greatly appreciate your help.
