My son's father was adopted by his maternal grandparents. Not long after his grandpa (father in the eyes of the govt) became disable..My son's fathe (24 yrs old) is still drawing two checks off of the grandfather SSI and im not sure exactly of the name of the other. Is there a way my son can receive some of these benefits? I've been to court twice for child support first time was denied second time the judge order him to pay $25 per week. Is there anything i can do?

Do you mean a print out of his fathers benefits or the grandfathers?
or would ii need to see about some other kind of proof?

proof of what? the father signed the birth certificate .. but apparently since he has never paid into SSA.. I can't seem to get any info.. & the social security office will not tell me anything .. I do have a copy of the fathers benefits from 2008 though
