Need help with TRANSITION from POTTY to TOILET

I know some of you began potty training straight in the real toilet, but William was terrified of it.  We got him a cute little Cars potty chair, but I'm wondering how we transition him from the little training one to the real one?  How did you do that?  I'm hoping today is the day of full potty training  *crossing fingers*  He's in pull ups today, I didn't want to throw him straight into the big boy undies lol

I would let him pee in the big boy potty but still, for a bit, let him do the other in his training one.
The only reason I say this is you are dealing with something sooooo many parents deal with, and it might be easier to teach him to stand and potty and get used to the toilet that way, by aiming for something (making it a game) I know that sounds crazy but, whatever it takes, right?
My boys all learned to pee in the toilet from dad, so they all started standing up.. it happened pretty quick.
He will get used to it, he just may need to ease into it.
The tough part is when they start school and you start finding out that when they run in the door to use the bathroom everyday at home, because they haven't used the bathroom alll day long at school because the big toilets along with the flushing sound scares the h*** out of them!
Oh... fun times, fun times 8)
