Can anyone give me their opinion on unsupervised exchanges. The father of my son picked up our son at the meeting place and gave me a belated expensive birthday present. I want to return it to him so he understands it is not appropriate and i do not want his giftst. How should I do this so that it does not happen in front of our son in a negative context or make me look badly. If he is trying to get back together, I guess, or sending mixed messages, I am through!
Also, he is already ignoring the terms of our settlement and does not initiate the phone calls daily that he is supposed to do when he has our son. I have had to call my son everyday. Even one day the ex did not answer the phone at all. What should I do to try to correct his behavior without threat of going back to mediation?
Last point, he will not disclose where he is staying with our son. He says the 'dog' is the reason they are at the house of a friend. I asked what the address is and he said, "Do I have to tell you?". I am concerned about this and need advice. I am supposed to be informed of my son's whereabouts. Thanks.
