hello.thank you for anyone who read this and prays for us. its such a long dtring of unfortunate events, that i will try to make this as brief as possible(as i often tend to try to tell the whole detailed story).my sons' father who has not loved with us for 2 years now,due to him pulling a gun to my head (he is diagnosed as schizophrenic/bipolar & has some substance abuse problems),and being arrested 2 yrs. ago for that, than getting just 5 years of probation.my apt. manager made me sign a "violence against women's act" to continue to reside here, stating that he is not allowed on this property,as we do live in section 8 housing.(my first and only time of reliance on government help,as at the time of moving here 5 years ago my husband-father of both sons-had me stay home for our then newborn& 3 year old son,as he was the one working.as well as some physical disabilities i have, yet i do not recieve SSI or SSDI.back to the point:he came uninvited to our home on saturday the 25th of august, attacked me by pushing me by the throat into a kid's chair, and chair flipping over causing me to fall.i did not want police involvement, and told him to please just leave!instead he said no,he was going to call the police and lie because in his words "if I go down,we're all going down".i do everything possible to overcompensate for his actions,as our oldest son aged 8 now ,witnessed his dad atttacking me.they both are involved in the YMCA,church, soon UPWARD basketball teams, psychologists, therapy, support groups such as FOCUS(as my youngest son,age 5 now has broad spectrum autism),zoo membership,etc.,etc.well upon advice from a church member,i was told that i should let the school principal know what was going on,as a safety net precaution in case the boys start "acting out",and that it would all be confidential.so,after volunteering for my youngest son's kindergarten class for 2 hours, the receptionist referred me to the school counselor instead.i told her the events, and now she is telling me she will call DFACS(department of family & children services) to inform them because that is her "job",and she said she would lose her job if she didn't report.well this would be understandable if abuse was going on NOW.the boys were NEVER abused by their father,he only ever hurt me,and they had never witnessed any of it until this most recent incident.he is now in jail, and will probably serve up to 5 years due to violation of his felony probation by comitting another crime while on probation.and the boys are doing very well,my oldest is a staright A honor roll student, all star PE-fastest runner,is always in the annual school plays, etc.my youngest in kindergarten does very well(especially considering he is in the autism spectrum).they will continue with therapy,as i told this school counselor.

as most of you may know, involving DFACS will only compound, and add stress & negativity to a situation that has already been resolved.i am not a drug user,i don't drink,i never do anything foor my own selfish purposes.many can back this up,as my whole life is devoted to my children, their acadmics, and their well being.i am often complimented on what a good mother i am,that i do more for my kids than most married couples that have much higher income.PLEASE pray on behalf of my children & me,that we remain a happy family.we are very close, and have no family here, just the thought of DFACS involvement tears my heart up,as i have heard first hand horror stories of foster parents.i know there are plenty of good ones,as even i have considered beinhg one.but my kids really love me,and always want me to be there, always showing me every drawing, every achievement,as i praise them for all they do.they mean the world to me,and vice-versa. this woman at their school seems to have a personal vendetta,i don't know why.just pray that DFACS will NOT be called, that as God is my witness they are provided for above and beyond in ALL ways.thank you,and God bless all of you mothers out there that can relate,or are just a good, kind human being that would wish the best for a family like ours.i am in the proccess of getting a TPO (temp. protective order),so if their dad happens to get out of jail,he will NOT be allowed within so many feet of us.

thanks again all good people.
