All you can really do is try different brands. The shape of your baby and their particular habits for pooping and peeing will determine which diaper is going to work best. Also, some babies are sensitive to the chemicals in certain brands of diapers, but they're fine with others. You really just have to experiment.

I love Pampers!

Huggies always seem to leak or are wet.

Pampers are much softer than Huggies.

i used cloth diapers on my baby. not only was it earth-friendly, but it was also cheaper for me. with cloth diapers, you buy them one time, fits all babies of different sizes, you do not have to go out and buy a diaper pail, using cloth diapers usually helps kids to get potty trained faster, because knowing how a cloth diaper works, the babies can feel their urine as soon as they urinate. some people fear of their child getting infections or diaper rashes more often than when using a disposable diaper, but just as long as you change your baby as often as needed, wipe them every time, and use baby powder or what have you, every time you diaper change them, they'll be fine. some people fear of poking their babies when pinning up the diaper with safety pins, but besides safety pins they also have this thing called a snappi to pin up the diapers, now. its easy and its safe, too. your baby takes a nap or goes to sleep at night, just fold up another diaper, slip that in with the one you have already, put a waterproof liner on them, and they are good for the rest of the night. many benefits come, using a cloth diaper. it sure benefited me a lot in a a lot of good ways.

I have used Target brand diapers, but it doesn't seem to hold him since he is getting older. We are currently using Pampers.

We like huggies for diapers and pampers natural and clean for wipes. Pampers feel cheap compared to huggies, IMHO. That said, baby will go thru so many in one day that you might just want to buy what's on sale. It's not like you're making a long term purchase here! :)

Pampers are great but many of the supermarkets own brands are just as good. Sometimes we pay more for a brand name when we don't have to.

If you check out the websites for the main manufacturers you can often sign up for a free sample.

We also tried a couple of brands.Pampers turned out to be the best for our sons bottom.Best is to try some out.Its sometimes silly to get a whole pack of diapers just to test,i asked my friends that had babies same age and got some from them to test if they were using different brands.
