Who's upset, Jessica?

I simply corrected your outdated opinion that homeschooled children are social pariahs. They aren't, and haven't been for quite some time, ever since home schooling became a popular option.

I am 30 yrs old and I wasn't the one upset so my opinion for you is if you don't like people's opinions you simple don't have to read them that's my opinion for you so good day to you

lol At 1 and 2 you don't 'home school'... you play with them and simply teach them about things in the world as you naturally go about your day.

My daughter's best friend is home schooled.... They are both 13. The BIGGEST difference between the two situations... my daughter has less time for the real fun social interaction because she has to spend more time sitting at a desk. ;)

Wow if you are this way getting upset over an opinion it truly blows my mind that people take opinions to heart your children your choice on what you choose to do good luck to you is all I will say

Homeschooled children have just as many opportunites for socialization and organized sports as mainstream children do. Homeschooled children are 'registered' in their home district, and eligible for all that mainstream kids are, so please stop with the "homeschool kids don't get social interaction" BS.

Maddisen, I'd see if you can find homeschooling groups in your area. I don't recommend starting formal lessons until your 2 yo is a bit older, but preschool/prekindergarten activities, for sure!

Maybe see if you can find some homeschooling groups. There are a few communities here that are homeschooling communities.
On the other hand, your children are still so young. There's not need to be "schooling" them at this age, let them be children and learn through play. It's amazing how quickly they grow up as it is and how much they can learn through everyday play.

The only problem with home schooling is they won't get the social interaction all children need
