So my hubby and I are pretty open minded and are raising our children up in a naked environment. We think it's healthy for them and find nothing wrong with it. We do have a few questions. One concerns male arousal. Not sure if our preteen should even be experiencing this. What I mean is he has them more often and will walk into the room and we of course ask him to excuse himself until it subsides. We feel that is the right approach, but I guess we are searching for opinions. I don't want to make it into something dirty because it is a natural body function especially for someone nearing puberty, but where as a parent do you draw the line? My husband of course will never do that and if he senses something is about to happen he will excuse himself. And in the morning most of the time my husband has an erection, but he uses the bathroom before the kids wake out of respect for our daughters. So any advice on this matter?
My second question concerns shaving. Sorry, not trying to be dirty about this. It's a common practice in society, but what happens when you are raising teens? We both used to before they got to a certain age. We have the itch to start up again. As parents should we abstain from this until they are grown up and out of the house? Does it send the wrong message to our kids if we start doing this again? Just curious to see what others do.
And then last is bathroom privacy. Who here closes the door when going potty or doing number 2. LOL! We don't. What do you do?
