hi.. i am a FTM and my LO is almost 4months old now. Now that the winter is almost round the corner, (i am from VA) , i would like to know what is the appropriate way of dressing up your baby both for indoors and outdoors. What should he wear during nighttime ??? Do you all follow any winter care routine in particular. Any suggestions/inputs would be most welcome!!!

For baby, one layer over what you'd wear is the ritual. So if you are in short sleeves, she should have a sweater. If you note that she sweating, take a layer off of her. At night, I loved the zip up sleeper, easy for diaper change and no worry about blankets. I live in the Chicago area so it does it very very cold but with regulated house heating, my home is 68 during the night. Baby was always fine in a fleece sleeper. If you feel her fingers or nose and they are cold, put a hat on her or an extra layer.
