Need tips on getting my daughter to poo

My daughter is 27 months old and she doesn't like to poo. She will do all she can to stop it. It can go on all day and end up with her being sick and her bottom bleeding and lots and lots of tears. The longest she has held out for is hree days. How do I get her to understand that if she went when she first felt the need, it wouldn't hurt. I give her a lot of fruit and fresh fruit juice to helpp her. Has any one got any tips I can try before I take her to the doctors. thank you

My eldest son hated to poo. He didn't get to the stage of vomiting, but he got embarrassed about doing a poo and used to hide. He stopped doing it after a few months. Maybe this will resolve itself in time. Give her plenty of water so that it is always easy to poo, or maybe consider introducing wheatgrass or barley grass into her diet - they both work to soften stools.
