I have a dog, and I'm looking for a paint remover that won't hurt him.

That Vaseline trick is a neat one! I will try that next time... our is usually latex paint, which is non toxic and washes off but it does take a scrubbing!

If the paint is on the dog, use Vaseline. Goop him up and then you can comb the paint out of his fur, I learned this fun trick when my elder two "painted" my third with nail polish! In his hair, on his forehead, everywhere! It took a few applications but it did help the polish come out of his hair!

I would suggest you go to the hardware store and ask them. Not knowing where in the world you are makes it hard for us on an international forum to suggest brands. What is available in 1 country probably isn't available in another.

Brush up against a newly paint object, did he? LOL oh how I know that one...

OK what kind of paint? That will make a difference in the answer
