Mary I don't know where you live at but that little boy is lucky nobody had shot him while climbing through the window. If anybody comes climbing through my window they might get shot at. If he walked into your house one more time I would call the police and explain to the officer about it, then press charges against him, let him sit in Juvenile over night and get a taste of jail and maybe he'll quit walking into peoples houses.

thats just it hes not friends with my kids, my kids dont like him because he tries to boss them around..my 12 yr old has multiple delays and and my 10yr old has a social phobia/selective mutism..they have made it clear they dont want to be around him to the point when he comes close to them they go inside if we are out...and its not only my home that he looks in the windows and things i have a family member who lives close to me and the kid tried to climb through their kitchen window but their dogs went after him so he backed off and i have seen him go in an older ladies house without permission...his dad is raising him by himself but he needs to get him under control if it continues i may have to call the police hopefully it wont get to that point but we will see...thank you all for the comments

I leave my doors unlocked and I have kids that has friends and they walked in my house without knocking a couple of times. I'm not the nice mom though. LOL I put them in there place and let them know that they don't just don't walk into my house without knocking. I open the door for them and tell them to do it over and don't ever walk in my house again, learn how to knock.". They go back out, sometimes they leave and other times they will knock and when they come back they apologize. My kids friends know better NOT to walk into my house anymore,

Who, in this day & age, leaves their doors unlocked?

Does the kid do it when you're at home? If that's the case, removal and redirection: "I'm sorry, Suzie, but I am busy right now, and I need you to not just come right in. Please knock next time" as you are showing the kid the door. Also let them know that after the first time, you'll be taking them back home to mom if they cannot comply.
