maybe i did all the rong things as my boy was always spewing up from the beginning at eight months was breast feed before then. so when he got sick with asthma at one he would only have his bottle and yoghurt. so i stated puting yoghurt on his veggies it worked till he was two seen many doc, diet specialist ect all with differant advise. by then we had him eating some things with the right colour and shape same spoon, fork plate as he wanted and always sweet based but not everything with wierd tectures or fruit ect. i had come up with the ider of veggie pancakes with honey on top he has been eating these for four years. its more like a batter full of blended veggies, meat anything i think he needs with eggs flour, milk. his a solid healthy boy with bad teeth. will he ever change? iv tried everything!!!!

You are going to have to go cold turkey on this one and just give him proper food. Normally a child will try what mum and dad are eatting as long as it is not on their plate and threatening. Make sure you eat together and you eat the same food. Sit your son at the table and give him a small portion of food to try. He will moan and cry but just ignore it, you carry on eatting yours and chatting normally, make no mention of him not eatting. When you have finished get down from the table and wash up. Leave his food there. Leave the food for half an hour and then clear it away. Do the same with the next meal, a child will not starve themselves so stay strong. He may go a day without eatting but eventually he will at least try the food. Only then overly praise him for trying the food. This is a control thing for him now, he has control of what he will eat and when he will eat it, you need to take control and teach him that food is good for him and a varied diet is what he is about to get. Cruel to be kind. If you dont stop this then when he goes to school he is going to be very hungry because the only food served in a canteen is healthy.
