Thank you! Is it bad to have her sleep in bed with me at night? She just doesn't get good sleep in a bassinet or co sleeper.. I want her to get good sleep

Oh yeah... it gets better. You are in the very beginning of this adventure. You and your baby are BOTH learning what to do and how to do it.

She is perfectly normal. By wanting to nurse all the time she is developing your milk supply... and of course she wants to be held. She just spend 9 months in a nice, warm, 'holding' environment and has only been in this weird world for a week.

Your only 'jobs' at this time are pretty much the same as hers.... eating, sleeping, and feeding the baby. If there is anything else that needs done... this is the time to delegate to your SO or any of those friends/family members that want to help with the baby.

Hang in there!! They aren't newborns forever. I promise.... my oldest is 11 and I'd love to trade her for a newborn some days. lol

One week two days old, we are trying no bottles or pacifiers for at least four weeks or as long as we can but problem is she constantly wants me and to feed I love her but sometimes I need a little me time.. And it's hard to get her to sleep anywhere but in someone's arms
