I just had a baby girl and i love her to death. It's such a great feeling being a new mother, but I think when she cries I get over whelmed or something is this normal? Or could this just be the baby blues talking.

Seriously don't be afraid to ask for help from friends, family, neighbors, doctor..... I started seeing a councelor when my son was about a year old and finally gave in and started medication when he was 18 months. I felt like a failure, but I could not believe how much better I felt. Not saying that you need medication, but if you get to the point that it is what you need it's not a big deal. I have since been able to come off the meds and am doing great.

I was like that as well. Kind of like as soon as they start crying your blood just starts pumping extra fast and you just can't handle the situation. Just try to take a deep breath and reassure yourself that you can do it. If things get too bad don't be afraid to ask for help. This same thing happens to SOOOO MANY people, it in now way reflects you as a mother. There's nothing wrong with taking a break to calm yourself first, even if it means letting them cry for a minute.
