New-SAHM Don't want to be Frumpy anymore!

Hi Moms-

Since I had my son five months ago, I have been wearing sweatpants and I just don't feel like me anymore. I used to work outside the home have and contact with people on a regular basis. When I do go out and meet people, I get shy and weird. I don't understand why.

My hubby and I are currently relocating out of state and it's been very stressful and overwhelming. I would love to know what other moms wear when cleaning, going out grocery shopping or for a playdate. I don't know any moms currently in our new location which we have been staying in a small hotel room since March. I try to get out, but I haven't gotten to go to any parks in the area since the past few weeks have been cool and rainy. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

I wear black yoga pants and a T-shirt every single day! Dressing up for me is wearing a pair of blue jean capris! Most all the SAHM I know wear the same! They make yoga pants now that actually contour your body type and have a slimming effect! Pair it with a comfy semi-cute shirt and some cute tennis shoes and there ya go!!

When I was full time at home, if I was home for the day, yoga pants and a t-shirt. Especially if I was cleaning. Usually I had spit up on my shirt so if I went out, I'd throw a clean shirt on. I didn't wear makeup and my hair was in a ponytail most day. One place to get out and meet other moms is the library. Even with a baby, they have story time, or you may meet moms with toddlers and infants. Take a little time and get your hair done, a manicure or a pedicure. It may help you feel a bit more sane. It is so stressful to move with or without kids.
