I am a first-time mom, 29 years old. My ex-boyfriend and I recently split up after a 3 year relatoinship, his choice, not mine. It's been pretty difficult the last month. My daughter was born severely premature and was in the hospital for a while, she's now 14 months old and doing great. So, I'm trying to get back into things that I used to like doing - writing, blogging, music, etc.. and just kind of looking to connect with others, my friends here at home are great and some of them have gone through what I am now, but sometimes I feel like I'm under a microscope and being pulled in all different directions.

Thanks, Luckily I have my parents close by and will be moving out of the house we shared in the next 6 months or so. He's already left, staying with some friends. I find that sometimes I have to correct myself with a reminder that I don't need to worry about what he's doing. It's a bit scary, I never wanted my daughter to go through what I went through growing up, my mom was a single mother until my dad came into the picture when I was 4. God challenges us, but he gives us what we can handle. He got us through her birth and being in the NICU, that was worse than what we're dealing with now, and I know there has to be a reason why we're going through this now.

it's great that you have put your hobbies on pause just to be with your child and attend to her well beings, seeing that she is doing great now you really need to get back on your feet and start doing you to get your mind off certain things. Gods guidance
