I have been a single parent for 3 months. I would swear my 12 year old, Shyanne, beautiful as she is.. I swear she is trying to make me crazy...I am having a hell of a time finding work let alone time for laundry and cleaning... Ha! Who has the time? I know it is an adjustment for us all. I also recently started selling Avon so between meetings and trying to get new clients.... I don't even remember my name ...... I don't even know what kind of advice to ask for...and as far as their "Dad" is concerned He doesn't care unless until something changes for long as he can continue to do what he wants and not deal with the girls...He just doesn't care. Meth apparently has that side effect. But I just won't tolerate drug abuse around my children. So please.... Any advice is appreciated... Even humor.. : )

All children can provide challenges, but teens do so in a much more disrespectful way. In addition to her hormones running wild, she's probably adjusting to the new living arrangement. But getting her away from a drug user is a good thing. I'm sure you have a lot on your plate also adjusting to having to do it all. My advice is to stay strong, take joy in the little things, and try not to let it get the better of you. I'm sure you can do it!
