Ok so my baby is 6weeks old and ever since birth she has had oily hair. ive tried using johnsons baby shampoo & conditioner...pigeon baby shampoo...not putting bath stuff in the water...she still has it....im having to wash her hair everyday otherwise her hair looks so disgusting.

Does anyone have any advice of how to stop this or what to do?

My son had the same trouble. He was born with a full head of oily hair :-) It lasted a few months and it will go away on it's own. I had to wash it pretty often though

My son had the same problem, he grew out of it in a few months. I just kept his head clean with a washcloth/baby shampoo. Baby powder helps. He has beautiful hair now, not the least bit oily.

Don't worry! There is thing wrong with yourbby having oily hair you do not have to and probably should not wash it frequently. The natural oils are good for your babys scalp and prevent cradle cap! Your baby doesnt care if its hair looks oily :) instead of shampoo that may contain sulfates, parabens, and perfumes We use pure vegetable glycerine soap gentle and excellent for sensitive skin and you can add essential oils to it just make sure you test oils first to check for allergy lavender is usually pretty safe and its Nice and soothing:)

The baby powder trick does work. You can't stop it but she'll probably grow out of it.
