Looking for suggestions on the best Night Light out there,my son is 14 months and seems to be getting afraid of the dark,i use the hall light until i go to bed but i dont think that will work for much longer, i baught the safety first nightlight it had alot of bad reviews, mainly because its hard to find replacments. In your Opinion what's the safest one out there ? i know its not a dilemma but im paranoid over these things. lol :)

We have a TykeLight. It is actually handheld and timed, so they can keep it as close as they want until they fall asleep. It has also been helpful with my five year old waking in the middle of the night.

We have a character one for the kids' rooms too, and a plain white one in the hall outside their rooms for potty breaks. That was just one of the cheap ones.

Invest in extra light bulbs up front! They are like toilet paper--they always run out at the worst possible moment! ;)

I don't think any particular one is safer over any of the others. They are all safe. So just go with something you and your son like.

If you get a chance, check out the night lights that are characters. I got my daughter a Disney princess one. It is on a timer. And it runs on batteries. I turn it on for about 30 minutes and she sleeps fine. Just a suggestion. I know they have some from the movie Cars and I think Toy Story, if I'm not mistaken.

I hope this helps!

All the best!

I got a night light from big w( walmart) that has a light senser in it so when it gets dark enough it flips on and then goes out as soon as enough light comes into the room. I really like it as it just casts enough light to make things out in the room but is very dim still. Plus you dont have to remember to turn it off and on. It was 10 I think so not very much, we have on in our room too for when my niece stays over so she can find the bathroom
