I have a two year old daughter and recently she has been waking up in the middle of the night completely terrified to the point of shaking. The other night she let out a blood curdling scream and when I got to her room and picked her up she just started throwing up. After she threw up she was completely fine running around being crazy while I was cleaning it up. I tried to think about what she ate but nothing she ate would have made her throw up. She didn't have a fever or any signs of being sick. I'm thinking she got so scared it made her throw up. She has always been afraid of the dark since we brought her home from the hospital, so she will only sleep with a lamp on and every toy and stuffed animal you can think of. I have run out of ideas to keep her from getting scared! It breaks my heart! Please help!

Good luck. I hope you get some help and answers from your doctor!

It has been happening nightly and I have an appointment today to see the pediatrician but sometimes the best help comes from those who have experienced it. :)

Oh man that is scary. Have you talked with her pediatrician about this? Is it a nightly occurrence?
