Night time potty..

My son is 4yrs old and can't seem to get the night time potty thing down. My daughter who is 9 now also didn't stop wetting the bed until 6yrs old. Do I just have heavy little sleepers or could there potentially be bladder issues? (I stop all drinks by 6pm and he has a 9pm bed time) any suggestions would be great :)

I wouldn't be overly concerned either but if you're sick of changing the sheets at 2 am might I suggest waking him up once in the middle of the night to go potty. My SIL had this issue with her oldest. My SIL was always up at least once herself to use the bathroom in the moddle of the night and while she was up she would just help her son do a middle of the night pee. She always said he would only half wake up so it didn't cause any issues with sleeping but eventually he would wake up on his own to go to the bathroom.

Actually, around 20% of five year olds are still regularly bed wetting. Generally, it is a pure physical immaturity issue and most will outgrow it by the time they are six or seven. Only a small minority will be still bedwetting by that time, and generally, it then warrants further investigation. But in a four year old, it is not likely to be a medical issue - it is more likely he just isn't physically ready to go that long without peeing. You could try the bedwetting alarm and see if that helps him - it does help some, but at 4, I wouldn't be overly concerned.
